Hillary wins "Predicted" race in "Whitest", "Least Educated" State

There was never any question as to whether Hillary would win tonight in West Virginia, rather by what amount. The state is 95% white, the 48th   poorest state in the nation and has the greatest number of people without a college degree.

My take on this is that Hillary won in the poorest, less educated and "whitest" state in the country. Maybe the fact that the people are less educated is why they overwhelmingly fell for her promise of the "gas tax holiday".

I was not there, so I can not say with all certainty, however, I would imagine she traveled around the state, promising everything exactly as she did here in Indiana.

The only difference is that Indiana has a higher percentage of blacks and our state has at least 5 major colleges.

It appears they did not fall for the "gas tax holiday' and even though she covered this state, with a very popular Senator and past governor she barely squeaked through with a 2% lead. Obviously, there are some "white", working men who did not blindly follow her.

I guess my main point here is, even being quite" politically incorrect"; Hillary won in the poorest, dumbest, gun hugging, bible toting state in our country.

I am in no way a bigot, believe me. However, she has labeled people in each state and actually tried to convince them that Barack Obama was an "elite", wealthy, "out of touch" candidate who was in no way like them..

She has traveled through out the country, not only defining the people but also "morphing" herself into one of them wherever she campaigned. Whether  she was a duck hunter or a shot drinker.

Yes, Hillary will claim a huge win tonight and basically act like she should be crowned "Queen of West Virginia". Let us all not forget, that Barack had already conceded this state and no one had even hinted that he might win the state.

Now where does that leave us at this junction in time? Barack has now won the popular vote, the pledged delegate vote and now has passed her with the Super Delegates.

Of course, Hillary wants to claim Michigan, a state where Barack was not even on the ballot, Florida, where all the Democrat candidates agreed not to campaign and Puerto Rico, where they can not vote in our main November Presidential election.

No matter what situation presents it's self, Hillary comes up with some new way to win the nomination. I do believe she is a graduate of Welsley, is that not correct? Then one might ask their self, what in the world kind of math do they teach there. It must be some kind of new "Clintonian Math".

Discussion:

yeah...I HATE race, age and gender based demographics.  Unless you see MASSIVE preference in one direction or another, you have to dig deeper.  To not do so would be racist, ageist, or sexist.

I think the Clinton's miss the days of the smoke filled rooms that decided the nominee.  Too bad the voters got in her way.

i love it!! my point exactly! if she really wants to help americans she needs to tell those coal companies to cap their emissions, tax them to the point where it would be cheaper to research and comply w/clean energy bills and make it safer for those "poor, uneducated, working class white" coal miners that cannot even get OSHA to help them from losing their lives in those mines. they put more effort into getting new equipment than they do making it safe. and those folks in west va do not even have a real voice in what happens to them. they get a pre-fabricated house, a new truck and think that's all they need. the first time they get sick, there are 150 people in line to take their job. and then how are they going to pay for the prefab house and the new truck? not to mention the insurance premiums they have to pay. and for the doctors to see them and care for them...well,all i have to say is that blue cross/blue shield takes up to six months to pay the provider. take that from a provider! i'd rather have a client with medicare or medicaid any day. honestly.
