There is this talk about swing states and HRC's claim that no democrat has ever won the white house without them. I totally agree with her but what like many others and some pundits, she forgets that Obama is not the ordinary democrat that she talks about. HRC has won states that would go for a democrat even if it were you who is reading this. Democrats generally have not won blue collar voters. You might say they won the so- called swing states.

Obama is about change and all that it embodies. Obama has done fairly well given who he is, what he stands for and where he comes from-NOWHERE. Why are people not looking at Obama's Electoral College map? He is in it to win and he is not only changing Washington and bringing young people, Independents and even some Republicans (Obamacans), he is changing the look of the Electoral College.

Senator Clinton and all the anti Obama should remember who Obama is and get over the fact that they have lost it all. They could plead their case better for the VP position but should not dance around some old dust that this new face is not even particular about. Did they see the three congressional special elections? Shouldn't that tell them something? Who was used as a wedge to scare voters-Obama or Clinton. Change is in the air and we are all breathing it. People should get used to it.

When political ambition and reality collide, there is utter DENIAL. I know she will heal but if all of these innuendos are to help Obama lose the election in November, I think that would be another political nightmare that HRC would be having after the elections in November especially if she is not what she is hoping to achieve at this point. Your guess is as good as mine.

Go generation Obama and hold fast to your dreams. We would soon be living our dreams with President Obama in the White House. Don't be fooled by the old Electoral College map. We would have a new one created by our own true leader, the next president of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama!!! Go guys and I love you all.

Great article Emilia, I was watching CNN the other day and John King gave a somewhat detailed plan of how Senator Obama could win the general election as far as the electoral college goes. He has a plan and he can pull it off without winning the traditional states.

"This came from a USNA alumnus. It'll be interesting to see how the media handle this... Paul Kanter had an interesting little blog post about the fact that Congress, which technically has the exclusive authority to declare war, has not done so with regard to Iraq (or any of the last several wars the U.S. has engaged in).  My first thought was that the Constitution's pronouncement that "Only Congress can declare war†more...

Throughout the course of the bruising heavyweight bout between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the title of Democratic nominee, much was made of the effect that the battle would have on the prospects of Democrats in the Fall.  The mudslinging, the name-calling, the shots at experience and policy- for the most part, it appeared that the pu more...

I have always been opposed to having HRC as BO's running mate because it invokes a lot of bad memories if one would just parallel this to JFK and LBJ. What I did not know or fathom was that HRC would try to play on the psyche of some of her psycho supporters to actually take BO's life even before he gets the nomination. How pathetic! Su more...

If Barack Obama does not win Indiana and or North Carolina, conventional wisdom would say he lost the votes of the blue collar voters and his affiliation to the Rev. Wright. It might be true. I cannot even begin to try and defend the negative effect of Rev. Wright on the Obama campaign. Yet to say that his massive drop should be attributed to it is more...

If you are not a Christian this might not be your cup of tea.
