President Obama's Inaugural Meal - Photos and Recipes
To celebrate President Obama’s Inauguration, I recreated his Lincoln-inspired Inaugural meal on my food blog, PhamFatale.com. The menu includes a Seafood Stew, Brace of Pheasant and Duck, Molasses Yams, Cranberry Apple Cinnamon Sponge Cake and Crème Glacee. The links include more pictures and recipes if you're interested in making them yourself.

- First Course: Seafood Stew, paired with a Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc.


- Second Course: A Brace of American Birds (pheasant and duck), served with Sour Cherry Shallot Tomato Chutney, Green Peppercorn Truffle Sauce and Molasses Roasted Yams and Swee Potatoes Medley, paired with an Anderson Valley Pinot Noir.
- Third Course: Cranberry Apple Cinnamon Sponge Cake and Sweet Cream Glacé, paired with a California champagne.
