Just two days ago John McCain made an effort to change his tone on the Iraq War. In a speech he gave in Columbus, Ohio McCain cut the time he planned to stay in Iraq by 95%. Dropping from 100 years, down to just five...at least for most of the troops there now.

Now that we seem to have moved from Primary mode into General Election mode many are writing about Barack Obama's amazing potential to beat John McCain in the fall.

We all knew this was coming. Clinton was expected to beat Obama in West Virginia by as many as 40-points and she did. She won by 41-points to be exact and to give credit where it is due.
But as a post this morning on the Daily Kos argues, it's a little too late for momentum and symbolism. This race is over.

There is no longer any question about it; Barack Obama has won the fight for delegates in the Democratic Primary. According to the rules set up by The Party, and according to Hillary Clinton circa January 2008, this is a race for delegates and no matter how you slice it Barack Obama wins.
