Hey guys,

My name is Alexis. I'm an African-American teen who recently became interested in politics, and became an Obama supporter relatively late (January of this year). I like to jump around political/liberal blogs, so you may have heard about me before. I love to meet new people, so feel free to send me a message/add me.

Hello All!

Mary from Boston Massachusetts. Kindergarten Teacher. Pro-PEACE activist.

I am someone who strongly believes in the power of prayer.  Every day in the morning I light a candle, meditate and pray for Barack's safety in all his travels, and am asking any of you, especially those like me, who believe in Prayer, to join in with me in prayer for his safety in all his travels while campaigning.

Barack will be in Martinsville, Virginia, Patrick Henry Community College, Wed, Aug. 20th. Please say an extra prayer for his safety at this event!

Thank you and Good Luck Barack!

Be safe, stay strong!

Mary

Hi guys this is James here.In this time Obama is a real powerful man in America. It's hard not to be dazzled by Barack Obama. At the 2004 Democratic convention, he visited with Newsweek reporters and editors, including me. I came away deeply impressed by his intelligence, his forceful language and his apparent willingness to take positions that seemed to rise above narrow partisanship. Obama has become the Democratic presidential front-runner, precisely because countless millions have formed a similar opinion. It is, I now think, mistaken.

hi, my name is Patrick & I think you snivling, bed wetting liberals should wake up and smell the coffee. Obama Hussein is running for Commander and Chief, his qualifications of 2 years us Senator are much less than any other candidate; McCain, Biden or Palin. Besides the lack of qualifications, how about the issues. Immigration, gun ownership, social security deduction increses, abortion, socialized medicine, capital gains tax increases, dididend tax increases, benefits to illegals, inheritance tax increases, war (Iraq surge which worked great was  McCain's plan!), energy (drilling, nuclear, solar...), economy..... Obama is a good speaker, but so was Hitler. wake up & smell the coffee.

Hi,

I'm Anne. I believe I introduced myself up thread.

Each time I come here to post a topic, I get error messages. I must have typed the codes 10 times. Each time I close the msg, I'm logged off and have to log in again. What gives?

Hello all.  I'm a brother out of Las Vegas and bumped into this site while floating around on the dailykos.  So far I like what I see and hope I can be a contributor to the dialog here.  I feel I have a unique prospective having spent a few years (7) in right wing caves.  Never again and how could I have been so stupid?

Anyway, hope to get it crackin'.

Hey everyone!

You have to check out this website!    http://www.freewebs.com/obamanation2008/  It is really simple, but it clearly lays out some main viewpoints that have helped me make my decision to vote for Barack.  Please pass it on to all your friends!  By the way I am a 28 year old white male social worker.  Nice to meet you all!

Hello everyone. :)

I'm Clare, and I'm a student at the University of Michigan. I refuse to declare a party affiliation and I also refuse to decide who I'm voting for before election day actually comes because I have seen way too many people decide early on who they support and then twist everything that happens after that to support their good opinion of the candidate. But I'm liking Obama better of the two options so far. :) I definitely have some questions for him, though...
