Hi, I want to share Canada happyness for our neighbors for President Obama historical victory.

Canadians are swooned over US president-elect Obama. We were  intellectually, emotionally engaged in Tuesday's U.S. election. And most of us, according to polls, got the ending we wanted Tuesday night: victory for the cerebral and cool Obama whose centrist, socially-liberal policies are closer to the attitudes that define Canada's political culture. And the major thing is that he's not George W. Bush.

My name is edward I am 27 from Los Angeles CA and for the longest time I was never into politics. I could not be bothered with the many countless issues America faces and felt like no one really cares anymore.

This has changed suddenly when barack obama surfaced and created such a large buzz. I feel bad that i didnt get to vote in this historical election but promise to register and support this man in 2012. Obama inspires me to work hard and his professional and sincere demeanor is something which I would like to model myself after.

I eagerly await positive change and better days to come as an american.
