I can't hear Hillary Clinton because she's NOT talking to me nor for me. I'm a US citizen, oldest of 3 children, raised in a single parent home, 48 year old divorced female who is a home owner. I've worked consistently from age 17 to 46 and have been unemployed in a permanent position two years now, no healthcare, own my car (could possibly serve as next residence), formerly went on exotic vacations once a year paid for by myself from the fruit of my hard labors and suddenly I find myself having to take menial jobs simply to eat, in jeopardy of loosing my home, a registered voter since my early 20's and here comes Jane Doe aka Hillary Clinton and she wants to be the next President of the United States.

You know what I say? "Are you talking to me, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" I see you slinging not so sly mud rocks at Obama about his inexperience, his inadequacies to lead, making fun of his 'dream world' fantasy of bringing TRUE CHANGE to America but what I really want to hear from you is what are you prepared to do for me, not only as an individual but as a woman almost 50 years old who wants to work but can't find work? To a very capable woman who would love to start her own business rather than wait around for my portion of cat food that I'll be able to afford with Social Security just around the corner. A Woman who needs healthcare but doesn't have healthcare? To a first time home buyer with an ARM Mortgage that could explode in my damn face at any moment?

I can't hear you, Girlfriend. Could you speak a little louder, pretty please?  Oh, I'm sorry I forgot, you did make some joke about a possible 90-day FREEZE on ARM Mortgages until something can be worked out better. In the worst case scenario, I could be living in that car I own in 90 DAYS!  Thank goodness it's a 4-door, perfect for enteraining I hear.

What I'm also trying to figure out is where and how exactly you came by the infamous '35 years of political experience' you keep claiming to have? Additionally, I'm bothered by your thoughts that the country can't afford to let Obama into that precious presidential sanctuary where he'd basically be training-on-the-job. If that's not blatant/wreckless conjecture and a load of hooey that adds insult to the initial injury, I don't know what is. Please tell me which political offices you held or which of them added up to 35 years of experience?

Did I miss something or was your husband Bill President perhaps in another country or on another planet before becoming the President of the United States? If he did not, would it be fair to say that he also was virtually training-on-the-job? Secondly, do you feel that by the sacrament of marriage that you were also training-on-the-job as First Lady or for President yourself, while in the White House?   Hillary, I hate to be the one to break it to you but, this is America, not England.  You are Hillary Clinton and not the heir to the British Throne.  It's funny and I expected better from you. You're supposed to be a woman of the 'new world'.

Not sure why you cried in New Hampshire but, that was a weird move on the old chessboard.  In my personal opinion, no woman with enough guts to stand up to the world and stand by her man while the curtain comes up on his Oval office afternoon antics would cry in public for the cameras simply because she's tired or because she doesn't want to have the clock set back on all her hard work.  The kind of woman I'd like to see in the Whitehouse would never cry in public nor would she need to.  Her character would long ago have spoken for her and said very plainly "I've cried before and then I went back to work."

What I find most appealing about Obama is that he hasn't been bottle-fed on the 'old school' way of doing business as a politician. He's still fresh, unscathed and unbowed. He's got ideas and not afraid to stand behind them.  To me he reeks of something new, uplifting, something still fresh enough to embrace real change and yet strong enough to know that while the 'old school way' will die hard, he knows that it MUST die in order for change to come about and this does not seem to frighten him. I admire that in him, his courage to continue in this task of bringing something really new to the table. Otherwise it's hopeless.

Any contractor can tell you it's impossible to build a great home on a bad foundation. The foundation has to be dealt with properly first.

I'm aware that Bill asked you to chair the task force on National Health Care Reform. How'd that work out in the end? Yes, you were elected a Senator after Bill FLED office but, do these two positions add up to 35 years of actual experience? Hey, I've padded a resume before but not to this extent.  Flag on the play!  I'm somehow now reminded of the guy who ran FEMA and that glowing resume of his. Just think, if Hurricane Katrina had never come along that poor devil would probably still have his job. Scrutiny can be a bright and intense experience to which I'm sure he will attest to until his last hours on this planet.

Rome can't be built in a day but, on the Internet with the right clicks you can come pretty closer to discovering almost anything about anyone in the world unless of course your college thesis has been wrapped in official don't touch wrapping paper by a President of America and a college president. Even more so if that person has notoriety. Today I was determined to find Hillary's 35 years of experience in politics. Guess what? I could not. Honey, I Iooked high and then I looked low, not out there. What I did find out is that she was born on October 26, 1947, graduated from college in 1969 where she was the President of the Young Republicans club, taught at a law school and even worked as an attorney for a while. Two years after graduating from college she married Bill Clinton. I wonder did she change to the democratic party before or after she married Bill?   Ancient history?  Not ancient enough for my taste.  The rest is history but where's all this experience she has and if she's using the same parameters that her husband used while in office then we must ask ourselves, do we want to do all of that all over again with a skirt this time? Who has time for her to work all those kinks out, this country needs real help! NOW!  Besides who is going to keep Bill away from McDonalds and Hooters while she goes down the hall to the oval office.

Sorry but, I find Hillary not up to the task, she can't be honest with herself so how can she be honest with me or the american people? The mere fact that she's a woman like myself is not going to make me jump into a sinking boat because the words FEMALE are painted on the side of the darn thing!  How many years of actual political experience did Ferraro have?

I've been down ALL those roads that short-sighted politicians and Hillary would take us down again because they have no where else to take us and trust me, I've had a belly full already.

I'm going to try something totally new this time ... I'm going with heart, dedication, intelligence, and strength ... OBAMA because I hear him, he's talking to ME!

Very interesting to hear a woman's perspective. I'm heartened to find that it's not that different from mine. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less. GObama!

I agree with much of what she has to say - particularly her view that Obama is yet unbowed and a likely change agent. And why aren't more people calling Hillary out on her claims to experience? Mrs. Clinton is running for the presidency because her husband held the post. Not because she holds the leadership qualities many of us look to a president for.
