The controversy over the "real" nature of Barack Obama's birth rages on, if only in the back corners of the Internet and conservative talk radio. What's become clear at this point is that the situation is only going to be resolved one of two ways: one side or the other is going to blink. Either the president will back down and produce some incontrovertible evidence that he was born in the State of Hawaii on August 4th, 1961, or the birthers will become old news, fading into the conspiracy-theorist background with those who still think Vince Foster was murdered, or that the Bilderberg conference is really running America.

Then-candidate Barack Obama released a Certification of Live Birth issued by the state of Hawaii during the 2008 campaign, when the issue was first raised. But "birthers"- as the advocates for verification have come to be known- questioned whether the document is sufficient to prove that Obama's birth took place in the US, as mandated by the Constitution.

Still, the criticism persisted. A senior official for the State of Hawaii's department of records attested to the veracity of the Certification of Live Birth, while other representatives within the state government have gone on-record saying that they've verified that an official Hawaii birth certificate for Obama does, in fact, exist.

Since then, the White House has largely ignored the cries from what had been a fringe group. In the meantime, the issue has inexplicably gained traction, over assurances from multiple sources that public record backs Obama's natural born citizenship. Top advisors for the presidential campaigns of both Hillary Clinton and John McCain admitted to having explored the issue at length during thorough opposition research efforts, but found the claim to have no credibility.  Public figures including CNN's Lou Dobbs and Republican Rep. Michael Castle of Delaware have questioned Obama's citizenship in what have become widely circulated viral videos.

The issue puts the White House in an interesting position: they can ignore the issue and hope it goes away on its own by calling it resolved and refusing to dignify further questions, or swat it down by actually producing documentation to prove natural born citizenship. 

The former option appears to have been the White House's approach so far. The problem with the second, however expedient it may seem, is that it opens the President to having to answer any question from any fringe group, no matter how ridiculous or incredible, as long as it gets enough public attention.  And the mainstream media seems all too eager to give air time to the craziest people, if it will increase ratings.

For now, Obama's best bet may be to continue to disregard the ongoing controversy. A
California attorney/dentist/real estate agent/second degree black belt (really...no
kidding) named Orly Taitz has filed several lawsuits challenging the president's
citizenship in federal court, including one on behalf of a soldier who refuses to
follow an order from the commander-in-chief deploying him to Afghanistan. In the
past week, Taitz- herself a Russian born American citizen who compared Obama's
administration to Nazi Germany during an appearance on The Colbert Report- has
produced a document she claims to be a Kenyan birth certificate for Obama. She says
that she'll file a Proposed Order for Authentication with the federal court to have
the document appraised. Former Bush advisor Karl Rove has questioned he authenticity
of the alleged Kenyan certificate.

The controversy has legal constitutional implications as well, including whether a
citizen may sue a sitting US president over constitutional qualification.


 

Obama could silence this in a second with a phone call to the Gov. of Hawaii, but he chooses not to. For damn good reason.

When your enemy is drowning, you don't throw them a rope, you throw them an anvil. Every day the crazy-ass remainder of the Republican party reminds the other half that walked away from the party in 2006 and 2008 just how insane and racist they really are.

He's provided a birth certificate, announcements in the Hawaiian papers, verification from various officials including the governor of Hawaii. What they have is some questionable statement from someone claiming to be his grandmother, through two or three translators supposedly stating that she was at Obama's birth in Kenya.

What the hell more do you propose he do? Provide the "long form" certificate? Well it appears that even this won't appease Oily Teats since she is saying that they also want the big fat folder of documents that go along with the "long form." You know as well as anyone that this whole thing is about race and nothing is going to change Obama into being white. So, again, what the hell do you propose he do?

Let's keep them around if possible, because they are bound to scare some people from the middle over to our side. Having opponents who are such obvious raving lunatics can be very useful. Also, the perceived need on the part of may Republican politicians to at lest give them a nod, if not a bow, helps us.

Statistics strongly suggest that a strong majority of Birthers follow Christianity - or at least try to force Christianist morality on the rest of us.
Let the Birthers believe what they want, but be sure it DOESN'T SPREAD. We do that with counter-questions. Birthers need to be asked repeatedly about their inability to trust. Specifically: your beliefs about your "leader" hinge on what a few *dead* people said in support of a complex, contradictory document that's millenia old.
If birthers won't believe what a significant number of LIVING *AUTHORITIES* say about several very current, very SIMPLE documents b/c they don't want to follow Mr Obama's leadership, then Birthers SHOULD NOT expect the *normal* 77% of us to listen to what they say about THEIR leader - nor should they expect us to tolerate attempts to FORCE us to obey the dictates of a maverick from millenia ago. Especially since there's so little behavioral evidence that the documents still work.

This Russian born US citizen dentist/ attorney Orly Tatiz and her filling a fraud and forged so called Kenya Birth Certificate of President Obama has not only made a false statement, but knowingly and with deliberation offered to the California Federal Court false evidence and interfered with the duly and bona fide elected Office of the US President and the Government of the United States. This despite the fact that the Government of Hawaii and the authority of that state having presented real, verified and authentic proof without a reasonable doubt that President Obama was born on August 4th, 1961 in the State of Hawaii.

This so called Kenya Certificate of Registration of Birth is a fraud and forged document for following reasons.

1. On July 4th, 1961 Kenya was a British Colony with the Official title " Colony and Protectorate of Kenya"
2. I have in my possession a real genuine original such document " Certificate of Register of Birth" issued to another individual, who was born in Kenya during the time frame.
3. The forged fraud document offered by Orly Tatiz as compared to the formate at the time is totally different in each and every asepect of the formate and details of information set forth by the British Kenya Government at the time.
4. During that time frame and in particular August 1961 The Registrar of Births and Deaths for the Colony and Protectorate of Kenya was a High Ranking British White Official Head Quartered at the seat of the Government in Nairobi. This individual never personally signed any such Certificate of Register of Births.

5. There were no Africans working in Kenya in such high capacity for the British Government. The name of the African so called Registrar is not only wrong but a blatant lie. All this can be confirmed through the British Home office in White Hall in London UK. Where all records of all the Kenya Officials and Government are filed and kept.


6. In fact the document that I have can also be compared to its formate and authenticity for the time frame.

7, The information, the formate and the standard details of particulars relating the name of the person born, the mother, father, their names, nationalities, occupations and the way these details are written will prove without a doubt that that the document filed in the Federal Court In Ca are fraud and forged with deliberation and intend to incite , ideologically divide, further polarize this country and interfere with the US Government under the duly elected President Obama.
