Research Associate
The Ohio Democratic Party is looking for bright and enthusiastic research associates to join our Research Department for the 2010 election cycle.
Applicants must have a strong background in legislative, background, and opposition research. Associates will work extensively with campaign finance reports, corporate and business filings, news sources, voting records, and other public records to provide politically astute analyses and written summaries of these documents. In addition, applicants must have the ability to: condense massive amounts of information into succinct briefings; work as a team player in a high pressure work environment; direct rapid response efforts; fact check research materials; handle information of a highly confidential nature; and work with the Research Director to achieve the goals of the entire Research Department.
Applicants should possess a keen knowledge of the political process and political campaigns and have strong verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail. Legal experience a plus.
