Our Goal
Help us convince Superdelegates to endorse Barack Obama. more...
While there is no chance left for Sen. Clinton to secure the nomination, she can do quite a bit of damage to our eventual nominee with her campaign’s constant mudslinging.
We do not fault Sen. Clinton for staying in the race; that is her right. It is up to the superdelegates to make the delegate lead insurmountable by committing to Sen. Obama.
This election is too important for the Democrats to let slip away. It is time to coalesce around our presumptive nominee, so that Sen. Obama can focus entirely on the coming battle with John McCain.
Almost every indicator is in our favor, and we have been given a candidate in Sen. Obama with once-in-a-generation political skills. EyesOnObama.com hopes that you will join in our effort to persuade as many superdelegates to join the cause between now and the Pennsylvania primary.
What's a Superdelegate?
A superdelegate is a Democrat, usually an elected official or party leader, who can place a vote for the party's nominee. Their vote carries equal weight with the delegates selected by the vote of the public ("pledged delegates").
Who Cares?
Everyone!. Superdelegates make up about 20% of the total delegates, so they have enormous influence upon the outcome of the race. Thats why we created this resource, to help educate Obama supporters and to get your help in persuading as many superdelegates as possible to support Obama.

Superdelegate Demographics
Below is a selected list of delegates that we consider strong targets for Obama. Note - getting a Hillary supporter to switch sides counts double!Black Caucus - Hillary Supporters
Congressional Black Caucus members (all African-Americans) supporting Hillary Clinton. African Americans are voting for Obama at a rate now approaching 9 to 1. Many of these politicians have been elected by the large numbers of African Americans in their districts, so we think they should reconsider.

Black Caucus - Uncommitted

Big Gets - Uncommitted
Some of the biggest names in the Democratic party. An endorsement from one of them would provide plenty of cover for other superdelegates who are on the fence.

US Senators - Uncommitted
If they didn't rush to Hillary Clinton when it was easy, they have no reason to do so now. Some of these folks are probably eyeing the VP spot, and an endorsement at this time would be very meaningful.

US Governors - Uncommitted
It's a small group, but these Governors could be of great help to Obama in ringing up endorsement in their states.

Red State Democrats - Hillary
Red States are states that have voted Republican in at least 3 of the last 4 elections. These folks have no reason to support Hillary, since it is clear that it would be a bloodbath for them in the House and Senate if she was the nominee (even if she wins).

Red State Democrats - Uncommitted
This is a big group, and it seems that most of these folks would be naturally aligned with Obama.
