I am appealing to you to make your endorsement in favor of Senator Obama. I am a white, middle aged Catholic woman from New York and I believe that Barak Obama will win the election in November. I would like to finally see a nominee named as the democratic party is falling apart. It is apparent that Senator Clinton's ambitions are far more important to her than the welfare of the democratic party. Her new message where she says that she can win the votes of "hard working white Americans" is an insult to the integrity of all Americans. This statement, which is insulting and divisive, is made even when it is inevitable that Senator Obama will be the nominee. In a time where super delegates may be showing restraint in announcing endorsements for Senator Obama to allow Senator Clinton to bow out with grace and dignity she continues her devisive rhetoric. Senator Clinton is not worthy of the respect shown to her by the super delegates as her ambition is such that she puts herself before the interest of the party. There is much work to be done to unite the party and to begin the fight to overcome Senator McCain. She should be softening her tone at this point even after her big win in W. Virginia. She should be rallying around Senator Obama to enhance our chances of winning in November. Our country has long been yearning for a president who will be a statesman and will bring change to the White House. That person is Senator Obama. In a year when Americans are overwhelmingly disgusted with the republican administration we should have a very good chance of winning big in November. It seems that Senator Clinton is making it easier for Senator McCain. I have been hearing people from the Clinton campaign say that this long campaign is good for the party as it attracts interest. This is nonsense and not reality as the party is not united now. When something is heard over and over it starts to ring true. When Senator Clinton repeats her claim that she best can beat Senator McCain in November it creates doubt. The power of suggestion should not be overlooked or underestimated. This is why we need to name our nominee soon. Senator Obama can and will win in November. Please consider endorsing Senator Barak Obama now. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Fran Pensa

Dear Ms Dahlman,
I am writing to encourage you to put your support & endorsement behind Sen. Obama.
Contrary to the polls being discussed:I am a 40+ white woman from a very rural small town w/ a blue collar hunting family who are strong in their Christian faith.I personally do not have a college degree(by choice), but I am intelligent & able to make what I believe to be informed & smart decisions.
I am also a mom & grandma, & the dangers facing our country
abroad terrify me.I have a child in the Nat'l Guard, & we have been lucky that we have not had to deal w/ deployment. The mere thought of it hits me like a gut punch.
I see Sen. Obama as the person who will actually apply thought before making a call to send our children, grandchildren, & in some cases
our parents into war.I believe
he would look to the future repercussions & not just make a snap decision without any real evidence to support making such a serious decision.
He is willing to take responsibility for his actions & his mistakes. You don't find people in politics
willing to admit when they are
wrong very often.Many choose
to use politically correct
words & place blame elsewhere.
I see Sen Obama as the choice our country so desperately needs to get back on the right
track.I have researched his stand & plans for the issues that effect us ALL today, & I am confident that he is the right choice to help the American people.
Our country is broken, & I do believe Barack Obama offers the healing ideas that we need to begin to mend.
NOW is the time & OBAMA is the change our country needs for our children, our parents & ourselves.
It's time for our government to make WE THE PEOPLE important again.
I do feel that the caucus state issue needs to be addressed. An attempt has been made to diminish the importance of the results of those votes.First of all, I think everyone will agree that my state of MN will be
casting our votes just like
everyone else come Nov.They
will not be calculated at a
lesser percentage than those
from primary states! Contrary
to a description of caucus voters as "activists" I & the
group in my little town of Obama supporters are not "activists". Because of the importance of this election, we have chosen to become active in the process,
but those are two very dif-
ferent things. Also to the recent argument that caucus states would automatically be voting Republican in the general. Some of our states are, in fact, swing states.MN
is voting while having been governed by a Republican.FYI
a vast majority of our state
does not feel that our Gov.
has been effective or acted in the best interest of the residents.I'd say we'd be one
of the best chances of swinging Democratic! So please
listen to the voters not those
who are trying to spin it in their direction!
I thank you in advance for giving Sen. Obama your strongest consideration in this important choice that faces you.

Why I Am Voting For Obama,
Please consider endorsing Him.
Obama younger years have given him a unique perspective of the world. It has more than prepared him for the challenges he will face as President of The United States. Obama expresses humility, meekness and compassion for all, and this will go a long way in helping mend fences with our friend and build bridges with those who are considered our adversaries around the world. Remember in the Bible people came to Jesus and asked if he was the Messiah? He told them to look at his works and decide for themselves who he was. Obama accomplishments and ability to inspire a nation should be the focus of the voters during this campaign season. Obama has confronted America with a way forward by presenting facts that compassionately emphasized things that have never been considered about race relations or the growing divide between the rich and poor. A democratic ran government usual overreacts to a community’s outcry, thinking legislation or law enforcement will be a fix for all problems. Obama is constructively poised, responding with compassion for all options, to encourage civil dialogue. We all must realize, It is not enough to recognize error, but we must unsee it. We can prove the unreality and powerlessness of hate as Jesus did, by seeing all through a spiritual lens, as children of God.
In this true view of America, Obama embodies hope for all people, which transcends the circumstance that will promote global understanding and appreciation for each other. His vision of change is elevating us above the human plain of hopelessness, to an unbridled hope of a better tomorrow. Love and compassion for the man is his answer to all hate. What held the hostile crowd in check was not Jesus expressing self-righteous judgement of them for being hateful. Jesus response was not a (reaction) to hate, but he responded with thoughts of compassion and Love for the real individual, by separating the God’s child from the carnal thought that needed to be rebuked. Therefore, His love for God’s child allowed him to walk through the hostile crowd undetected. Christ Jesus thinking beheld only God’s child, rejecting the carnal testimony. What elevated Christ elevated all that touched the hem of his garment.
Obama embody spiritual tools in recognizing the differences among Americans as ice breaking opportunity to have dialogue over our uniqueness and how American culture is importantly represented and respected in this movement for change. Hope is the leading force in seeing the true potential of America.
Obama View Is Like Teacher:
A Teacher’s high view of a child may be a child’s only hope. After being labeled as troubled or not teachable, the child may struggle to see beyond the harsh opinion of others. Some may say, a teacher’s Love, compassion and vision of hope for a child may not be warranted by anything seen; however, it may gives the child hope and faith that turns into a greater experience for the child and his ability to learn. Because of one teacher’s vision, the child is on a pathway to a successful life, benefiting future generations. Obama is that vision for America. His works display his long journey in obtaining this understanding and changing people lives along the way. Hope is finding value in the unseen potential of all Americans.
Obama’s movement has become larger than any other movement in recent history. We are witnessing a global desire for change. Obama can reestablish global confidence in America. Obama has been uniquely, spiritually fitted for this role because he has not been contaminated by status quo politics. We have to reconcile by compassion and love what is true, even when it is not in the immediate view. This is what heals a nation and brings global calm.
This unconventional campaign journey for change will not always be popular, because it may not tell you like some politicians what you want to hear. However, His straight talk will lead to American friendly solutions. The concerns are too great for us to ignore another four years.
My parents always taught me to Love the unlovable, because what is the reward for only loving those loving you. Then we are expressing grace as the Bible says, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves. I believe Obama has the vision that will help move our nation forward as one United States.
Thank You again,,
President Obama

Dear Jean Lemire Dahlman,
I recommend and entreat you to endorse your support to Barack Obama for all AMERICANS for the good of our future and that of our children as he is the best candidate to raise our country back up to the level that we all know it should be and has the ability to inspire people into believing AND ACHIEVING a better world for us and our children.
I'm 31 years old and i have NEVER been active in Politics and I've never voted. I always believed that it would serve no real purpose and I've always had doubts about every politician I've ever heard of. Don't get me wrong, I've always paid attention, but never got involved. Obama has inspired me to the point that I am doing anything and everything that I can to assist him in becoming the nominee for the Democratic Party and the Next President of the United States of America. That is really saying something. I have long had such a pessimism for politics and for anyone to get through those years of resentment and bring me the hope of making a difference or believing in someone to honestly make a real difference is someone special and deserving of your endorsement. My opinion is not just because of my personal experience but on hard facts.
Americans are facing several issues that Obama has viable, effective REAL solutions for that I wanted to relate to you in case you are not aware of them.
First, let me start by saying that Barack Obama has more than enough experience to handle this position. He has 8 years as a state legislator and another 4 years as a US Senator (opposed to Hillary Clinton’s 8 years in the US Senate – her only elected office experience.)
If you recall, Regan only had 8 years as a governor at the time he became president, Bush had only 6 years as a governor before he became president, Abe Lincoln only had 8 years as a state legislator and 2 as a House Rep.
Among Obamas proposed resolutions for our issues are:
1.MORTGAGES/FORECLOSURES – Intends to set out to penalize companies identified as predatory lenders and use the money to establish a fund to help those having trouble making current payments. Intends to reform BK laws to allow bk courts to restructure mortgage payments and help the people – not the companies.
2.Will issue a $500 refundable credit for low income homeowners that don’t itemize.
3.BK REFORM – For people forced into BK by medical issues, he intends to develop a program of debt forgiveness to keep people out of bk and assist them in getting back on their feet.
4.PAID SICK/LEAVE – Intends to establish program to require employers to provide 7 days sick leave and intends to establish a fund to assist states in getting employers to provide for paid leave and to expand the Family Medical Leave Act to provide time for 24 hrs for childrens activities, allow leave for elder care and allow leave to address domestic violence matters.
5.Intends to provide a $500/person - $1,000/family “making work pay” tax credit
6.Will make the Child Care Tax Credit REFUNDABLE up to 50% - this will GIVE BACK 50% of the money people spend on child care expenses and decrease their everyday costs!
7.HEATING COSTS – Expand the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program to assist with the heating and cooling expenses
8.MINIMUM WAGE INCREASES
9.GAS/FUEL ISSUES – requiring increased fuel economy standards with credits and loan guarantees for auto manufacturers, investing money into advanced vehicle technologies, providing tax incentives, government contracts to develop new tecnologies to deploy cellulosic ethanol, promote farmer owned biofuel refineries, increase renewable fuel standard, reduce oil consumption.
SENIOR ISSUES:
1.Protect Social Security by increasing the payroll tax cap
2.ELIMINATE TAXES FOR SENIORS MAKING LESS THAN $50K/YR and eliminate their requirement to file returns.
3.Reform Bankruptcy Law to prevent companies going bankrupt from liquidating pensions to protect employees instead of executives
4.Improve Medicare by closing the “doughnut hole” in Medicare Part D prescription drug program
HEALTHCARE:
1. Establish a national healthcare plan where NO ONE is denied for any reason - He includes a provision for subsidies for those who can not afford even a modest copay. Intends to reduce prescription costs and reduce expenses by investing in technology to convert from paper to electronic records. Additional information is available in his plan at http://www.barackobama.com/issues/
GREEN JOBS/CLEAN ENERGY -
Please download his plan above to learn about Obamas intentions regarding these other issues - which do make provisions regarding the coal companies and investments in improving their technology to cleaner methods.
Overall, his committment to change in the politics of America and the elimination of lobbyists from the equation would be a refreshing change to the behind-the-door antics that often go on now. He has a fresh perspective and several excellent ideas to improve america and the lives of it's people and his honesty and integrity will go far to raise us back up in the eyes of the world - please give Mr. Obama your endorsement and help us educate your constituents in his ideas. Thank you very much for your time!

During the early debates, it became clear to me that Barack Obama was the most qualified to lead us out of the mess that George Bush made. However, I felt I could support Hillary Clinton if she won the nomination. Not now.
As a lifelong Democrat, I am appalled that Sen. Clinton has shown the world that Democrats can be as vicious, mean spirited, dishonest and destructive as the Karl Rove machine. If the superdelegates give her the nomination, this kind of campaign will be validated. The way she has run her campaign suggests the way she'd run The White House. She gets her way or you're destroyed. Haven't the last eight years shown us how badly that strategy works?
Please keep this party together and support Sen. Obama.
Thank you for considering this.
Sincerely,
Phyllis Katz

As Senator Obama talks about the "fierce urgency of now," many citizens are ready for a change. I have voted for him in our Oklahoma primary, and I am asking you to consider endorsing Senator Obama. He is a rare leader that has given us a vision for a better future. He is a man of integrity, honor and trustworthiness." Senator Clinton has brought her campaign to one of negativity and dishonesty. Her mis-remembering of sniper fire is evidence of her willingness to deceive our citizens. We already have a president we cannot trust, we don't need another one. I am a 57 year old caucasian female (farmer, educator, wife and mother)that would have loved nothing more than to elect a woman president. However, I cannot in good conscience vote for Hillary. Obama has inspired our people and is the one capable of uniting us. He is intelligent, and our problems are so great that we need a leader with his vision and passion for change. "We are the ones we've been waiting for."

At this critical time, we need a President that can change how business is done in WA/DC, one who unites and inspires, not divides, and can begin to work across the aisle to end the gridlock that has existed for so long. Our country, it's citizens and our standing in the world need care, attention and healing. The divisive politics of the past just won't do. Barack Obama is the candidate with the vision, the judgement, and the character to lead this country and the Democratic Party, and will ensure the Party's vitality for generations to come.

As a 58 year old boomer (white female) I have been more engaged in this Democratic primary than any I can remember. Because of Barack Obama, I have contributed more money, more time, and have been inspired to participate in my own community to make it a better place. We need the kind of leadership that will motivate Americans to come together, the kind of leader that will put a fresh face on America that the world will embrace, and a leader who is unafraid to deeply consider issues before casting judgment, and remains true to American principles. We cannot afford a return to the Clinton dramas and endure another 4 years of secretive rule. I urge you to support Sen. Barack Obama as President of the United States of America. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
(PS I was born in Bozeman... my Great Grandfather was Lt. Gov of Montana. He's whispering in my ear, "Vote Obama.")

I am voting for Barack Obama. He is a good family man. He is a man of integrity. He is a man that transcends age, race, creed, partisan politics, discrimination. He is a man of change.
Of course, I am convinced he is smart, capable, and experienced. More important to me, however, is the opportunity for voters of every race to close the racial divide in our nation by choosing a black man to lead us. By acknowledging that race matters in this election, we can move forward to a future where race does not matter.
In addition, Rev. Wright's comments were totally in line with his sermon. He and it have been used out of context. For instance, Rev. Wright did not say, "God Damn America". He said "God DAMNED America" for it's policies. Our chickens have come home to roost (World Trade Center, Aides, etc.)by poor foreign policies, hungry children in poverty, slow Aids research, homeless veterans, and other sins that our country have been guilty of.
As I watch the upcoming primary in Indiana and Montana, I realized each vote be equally significant. We have an unprecedented opportunity to decide the next president of the United States. It has been years since there was this much excitement about a national election.
As a registered Independent, I asked myself and many of my friends these questions: Do we think Republicans have a prayer of winning this next election? Our answer is no. Do we want to trust Hillary Clinton as our president? Our answer is no. Do we believe Barack Obama has the character, judgment and lifetime experience to unite this country across party lines and restore America's moral standing abroad? Our answer is a resounding yes.
As Sen. Obama said: "We are choosing hope over fear; we are choosing unity over division and sending a powerful message that change is coming to America." I don't want to miss out being part of this historic moment.
Furthermore, I will probably not see a women in the White House in my lifetime but I choose the one for real change and leaving the Bush Whitehouse "sins" behind us. Let's make our vote count and begin now to unify our party for Obama and cross party lines.
