Dear Superdelegate,

We are writing you today in support of Barack Obama for President of the United States. Sen. Obama has achieved enough of a lead among pledged delegate that it is nearly impossible for Sen. Clinton to catch up. The only result of continuing this battle between two great Democrats is to severely weaken our presumptive nominee.

You, as a superdelegate, have the power to stop this from happening. If you, along with enough of your colleagues pledge your support to Barack Obama, the delegate lead will become truly insurmountable and we will be able to rally behind our nominee.

Below is a list of signatures by your constituents in support of this petition. It is our sincere hope that you will have the courage to execute the great responsibility that has been placed on your shoulders and help us make Barack Obama the next President of the United States.
