Ugh! Not Edwards! The guy is a proven loser with no convictions. Which John Edwards is the real one? The by-the-book DLC-er who served in the Senate for six years, or the anti-poverty crusader we just saw on the campaign trail? I get the impression that he just does whatever he thinks will garner him popularity. And, look-- it's failed every time!Plus, the right wing has already feminized him. A ticket with two good-looking, thin, youngish men will be all too easy a target for the right wing slime machine. I hope the Obama campaign steers clear of Edwards!

I’m afraid I don’t like him either, more or less for the same reasons. I somehow already disliked him when he teamed up with John Kerry – now I believe he is an opportunist. An opportunist with a false grin…

This is not strictly related to Edwards, but I have a feeling that Obama will pick someone “near” the Kennedys.
